• THT (Through Hole Technology) assembly: THT is a semi-automatic PCB assembly process. THT components are pushed through the holes by hand or machine, after which the PCBA is preheated and wave soldered. At ADIVA Tech Services, we use German Ersa selection wave soldering machines to ensure solder quality.

• FAI(First Article Inspection): ADIVA Tech Services offers FAI for PCB assembly. We make 5 PCBAs and randomly select one piece to check each component. An FAI report is then prepared for review. We will start mass production of PCBA only with your approval.

• Functional Testing: This is an initial test. The PCBAs are placed in the jig one by one to test their functionality.

• Value-Added Services: ADIVA Tech Services offers complete add-on services from PCB post-assembly to the receipt of finished products, including:

• Conformal coating: PCBAs are coated with urethane/polyurethane to protect the boards from dust, moisture, chemicals, vibration and high temperatures, which extends their service life. At ADIVA Tech Services, we use an electrostatic spray method for adaptive coating that achieves the best uniformity.

• IC Programming: IC programming means loading a program into an IC. ADIVA Tech Services does not collect your program data.

• Burn-In test: Burn test is also called thermal aging test. In a programmable temperature chamber, the PCBAs are continuously operated for 48-168 hours to see if they are reliable for long-term operation.

• Box build assembly: Box sets are finished products. We can assemble the PCBA with the case and label them with your brand. You just need to send us the PCBA matching case design.

PCB assembly testing

PCB assembly testing includes online PCBA tests and PCBA tests at the post-assembly stage. EMS PCBA manufacturer ADIVA Tech Services has a strict quality assurance system with extensive PCBA tests

• SPI(Solder Paste Inspection): SPI is performed after solder paste is printed on PCBs and before SMDs are placed on boards. The SPI machine scans the solder paste and compares its shape, size, thickness and position with the pre-feed parameters. Solder paste thickness should be ±0.03mm of SMT pattern thickness.
• X-ray inspection: If PCBs are assembled with BGA, they should be X-rayed before resale. The X-ray machine inspects the connections between the PCB and BGA to ensure solderability.
• AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection): After reflow soldering, the AOI machine scans the surface of the PCB/PCBA and compares it with the pre-feeding parameters for to identify the PCBA. defects such as solder bridges, voids, tombstones, etc. ADIVA Tech Services has AOI 3D which covers more surfaces than 2.5D AOI.
• Visual inspection: Before re-soldering and after wave soldering and before and after wave soldering, QC members carefully visually inspect the PCBA to ensure the quality.
• Application Simulation Test: after installing the PCBA as a package, simulate its working environment and let it work for a long time to check the functions.
